A rental agreement for a TLA or TDY accommodation is concluded only when the booking made by the guest has been confirmed in writing by Country & Town Homes JK GmbH via email with a booking confirmation.

Payment may be made by credit card, bank transfer, or in cash.
A valid VAT Form may be accepted.Payment processing is carried out in accordance with the conditions agreed upon at the time of booking. In particular for TLA stays, payment may be made after completion of the stay. In such cases, billing will take place after reimbursement by the responsible authority.

Check-in and check-out are by arrangement.
Keys will be handed over personally or according to a separate agreement.
In the event of late arrival or early departure, there is no entitlement to a refund. We kindly ask for understanding, as the accommodation is reserved exclusively for the agreed period.

Cancellations must generally be made in writing.
For members of the U.S. Military, U.S. Civilians, and U.S. Contractors, no cancellation fees will be charged if the cancellation is due to circumstances beyond the guest’s control (e.g. flight delays, mission or assignment changes, official orders, or decisions made by the employer or contracting authority).
Country & Town Homes JK GmbH understands that assignments and travel plans for U.S. Military members, civilians, and contractors may change on short notice and aims to handle such situations in a fair, flexible, and accommodating manner.
The following cancellation conditions apply exclusively to cancellations for private reasons or for reasons for which the guest is personally responsible:

The accommodation may only be occupied by the number of persons specified in the rental agreement.
Additional guests must be registered in advance. An additional charge may apply for extra persons.
Pets are permitted only with prior approval. Only animals that remain calm during the guest’s absence are accepted. If pets result in increased cleaning efforts, an additional cleaning fee may be charged.
Smoking is not permitted in any accommodation.
Parties and events are not allowed.
Guests are kindly requested to treat the accommodation with care and to report any damage immediately so that it can be resolved quickly and smoothly.

Personal data required for the booking will be stored and processed exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling the contract. Data will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.

German law shall apply exclusively.
Place of jurisdiction is Kaiserslautern, Germany.
Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
